Answers to questions we're often asked.

Service System

There are different ways of trialling the MEWA Service. You can place a one-off order online for our free MEWA trial box with 3 wipes. Or you can trial our service with a one-month online trial contract. The quantity of industrial wipes we provide you with for this period will depend on the number of employees you have. Alternatively, you can arrange an appointment with a customer adviser, who will be happy to trial the MEWA industrial wipes with you on-site.

Yes, the service system pays off once you have three employees or more.

The MEWA service is a rental service for industrial textiles, whereby all industrial textiles are collected, washed and brought back by us at scheduled intervals. In the event of any wear and tear, MEWA will do an exchange.

In order for you to quickly get to work with our industrial wipes, we supply you with the quantity you ordered at the start using our logistics partner. You receive a box with clean wipes, which you can use straight away, and an empty SaCon. This is what you can put the dirty industrial wipes in until our service driver comes and makes the first exchange.

Industrial wipes and oil collecting mats are delivered and collected in the MEWA SaCon® safety container. At the start of your rental, you receive a full container with clean wipes and an empty container, which you can put your dirty wipes in until the MEWA service driver collects them for cleaning. When they are collected, you receive a new SaCon® with your clean MEWA industrial wipes. The empty SaCon®, which your clean wipes had previously been delivered in, now serves as a container for your used wipes. In this way, your dirty wipes never come into contact with the clean ones. You can also rest assured that your hazardous goods are stored safely when working with lacquers, oils, or other such substances.

We will, of course, continue to support your company as part of the service promise for our textile service. Do you want to see your contract, download your last invoice, raise a complaint or find information about the processing status? This is what our customer portal is for. The login data will be provided to you automatically once the contract has been signed. If you don’t find the answers you are looking for, our customer service will be very pleased to chat with you and help you. MEWA has established its own customer service at each location to cater specifically to the customer’s requirements, which vary depending on the location in question.

When using the wipes, lint can come off, so we cannot guarantee that they are 100% lint-free.

Quality Management/Environment

Yes, our certifications according to EN ISO 9001 and 14001 are synonymous with top quality and environmentally responsible conduct, which we get regularly confirmed by independent institutes. These certifications guarantee excellent service and appropriate care in accordance with applicable safety and environmental protection requirements. We make dirt into energy. Through the thermal utilisation of washed-out pollutants – predominantly waste oils from cleaning cloths – we cover up to 80 percent of our energy requirements for dryer and washing lines from processing industrial wipes.

In contrast to chemical cleaning, at MEWA we wash with water to remove blemishes rather than using solvents, which penetrate into the dry fibres. We wash with biodegradable detergents. We also use a special dosing and control system, which adapts the quantity and composition of the detergents to the degree of soiling there is on the textiles in order to achieve the desired level of cleanliness at the lowest possible dosage.

Our range is aimed at businesses and not private individuals. Therefor our pack prices are shown without VAT.

The net prices shown are all-inclusive and include postage and packing. There are no additional costs.

It's really simple. Your best course of action is to finalise the contract with your desired term online. This order will be processed by us without delay and will be delivered to you in a few days.

You will receive an order confirmation email after you have completed the order process. We will then send another order confirmation once the contract has been activated in our system. You will also automatically receive access to the myMEWA customer portal.

These are the only packs available online as they are most suitable product sizes for 90% of our customers. If you require more industrial wipes, just get in touch. Our customer advisors will be happy to help.

Contracts, invoices & deliveries

Invoicing is automatic and carried out at the start of each calendar month. Invoices can be paid with the following payment methods:

  • invoicing
  • Credit Card

We will not invoice you in the month that you conclude the contract. We will send the first invoice for the contractual value of the industrial wipes the next full calendar month.

We know that our customers may sometimes require more wipes than they anticipate at short notice. That’s why we include some contingency stock with each order. For you, this means the same price, but more wipes. So, with our MEWATEX 400 pack for instance, you actually receive 500 wipes, so you are always prepared for peak periods.

It’s easy to change or adjust your subscription and wipe order quantity, even during the contractual period. Just login to the customer portal and it’s very straightforward. A trial contract runs for 1 month and can be cancelled on the last day of this period. With fixed-term contracts of 1, 2 or 3 years, there is a 3 month cancellation period. The contract can be cancelled in writing or by email. Please note, you can easily change or adjust your subscription as well as the quantity of your industrial wipe order, even during the contractual period. You don't need to cancel your contract to do this.

The contract period starts when you receive your first delivery of industrial wipes. You can view the exact date when your contract commences in your customer portal.

myMEWA customer portal features

You can change your master data in the customer portal under My Account.

If you’ve forgotten your myMEWA customer account password, just select “forgotten password” on the login screen. You can then set a new password.

Your invoices contains an overview of your current and previous monthly invoices, as well as their payment status. You can also view and download your invoices in PDF format. If you need an invoice from an earlier time, you can request it from our customer service team using the integrated link.

You can view your next delivery and when it will be delivered in myMEWA under Your Deliveries.

Yes, under “Your Orders & Contracts”, you can find an overview of your orders and contracts, as well as their dates, prices and statuses. Selecting one of your orders/contracts allows you to see more detailed information about them and choose from various options related to your contract.

Yes, this can be done under Your Orders & Contracts. To do so, select the contract you would like to adjust the quantity for. Industrial wipes can only be ordered in scale quantities. You are welcome to contact our customer service team for support.
